Wolters Kluwer Health announced today that Pediatric Nursing: A Case-Based Approach, 1st Edition is a Subject Category Winner in the 2021 PROSE Awards. Authored by Catherine Gannon Tagher and Lisa Marie Knapp, the book won for the subject Nursing and Allied Health in the Biological and Life Sciences category.

Pediatric Nursing: A Case-Based Approach, 1st Edition, published by Wolters Kluwer, immerses students in pediatric narratives inspired by real clinical scenarios and uses the power of storytelling to deliver an engaging, comprehensive understanding of pediatric care and instill the clinical judgment and patient interaction capabilities essential for success in today’s pediatric settings.

“We are proud of our authors for being recognized for their contributions to advancing excellence in their category of Nursing and Allied Health,” said Julie Stegman, Vice President of the Nursing Segment, Health Learning, Research & Practice, Wolters Kluwer. “Pediatric Nursing: A Care-Based Approach delivers pediatric clinical experiences for nursing students through innovative storytelling, along with supplementary videos, and case studies featured in Lippincott CoursePoint, that helps them build the clinical confidence and competence needed to be prepared for practice.”
