  • How can I get started with CCH Validate at no cost?
    • To get started at no cost with CCH Validate, simply click “Get Started”.
    • Creating a new CCH Validate account takes just a few minutes, which provides four (4) complimentary confirmations at no cost (2x individual requests and 2x consolidated requests).
    • If you are an existing Wolters Kluwer/CCH customer, or if you are new CCH customer - please create a new CCH Validate account to use your four complimentary confirmation requests. Once you use your first of four complimentary confirmations, the remaining complimentary confirmations will be available to use for 30 days.
    • Once you have used the four complimentary confirmations, you can purchase additional confirmation requests in the eStore which can be accessed in the CCH Validate portal. You can also call your CCH solutions consultant to purchase additional requests.
    • As you are enjoying CCH Validate, you can leverage the Support site for more information, or your solutions consultant is always on standby to answer any questions you may have

    With CCH Validate, auditors can process bank confirmations and obtain detailed certified bank statements, fully automated, entirely online, and more secure than ever with cloud-based confirmation software.

    A single user can sign up and start using processing bank confirmations in about 5 minutes. Multiple staff members from the same firm can create individual user profiles and purchase confirmation requests online to work with clients independently.

  • How does CCH Validate work?

    1) The auditing firm initiates the bank confirmation request:

    • The auditor sets up the client’s profile including bank account information.
    • They select the financial data it needs to request and confirm as part of the audit engagement.
    • The auditing firm then requests authorization with the client to process the bank confirmation.

    2) The client privately authorizes, selects, and securely submits the requested bank information:

    • The client receives an email with the authorization request to confirm the requested bank information.
    • They then click the secure link in the email, and via the CCH Validate portal, privately logs into their bank account.
    • The auditor does not and at no point is able to see the client's bank account or any information inside the account.
    • Once logged in, the client selects the information requested, for example a monthly bank statement, account balance, or bank transaction at a specific point in time.
    • Once the information is selected, the client submits the data via the secure portal in the cloud to CCH Validate

    3) The auditing firm receives the data from the client and processes to finalize the bank confirmation:

    • The auditing firm receives a notification in CCH Validate that the information has been submitted by the client, fully compliant and certified according to audit industry standards.
    • Next, the auditor reviews the financial information sent by the client.
    • Lastly, the auditor completes the bank confirmation request as part of the overall audit engagement.
