Could flexible working transform your accountancy practice?

If you’ve already adopted flexible working in your practice, you’ll probably know the answer to this question.

By now, you’ll be building on its successful adoption! In reality, flexible working hasn’t fully taken off in many accountancy firms. Often, there is a prevailing culture of presenteeism and a focus on traditional working practices with little flexibility.

At Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting UK, we want to create even better workplaces. The UK government has recently stated that flexible working will soon be made the default position. All employees will be able to request flexible working from day one of their employment (they already have the right to request this after 26 weeks’ continuous service). This is a big change for all sectors, including accountancy – and you need to be prepared for it!
