Enablon from Wolters Kluwer Named SIIA Business Technology CODiE Award Finalist for Best Compliance Solution

New capabilities increase Enablon’s predictive power; enable customers to avoid incidents and improve performance

Chicago, June 19, 2018 – At the Sustainable Performance Forum (SPF) Americas 2018, Enablon, a Wolters Kluwer business, and OSIsoft announced a partnership to leverage real-time data from assets, machines and IoT devices via the OSIsoft PI System in the Enablon EHS, Operational Risk and Sustainability software platform.

The OSIsoft PI System is a real-time data infrastructure that collects and contextualizes operational data and events for real-time insights to help companies reduce costs, optimize production, increase safety and make critical business decisions. It is used extensively in manufacturing processes, oil & gas and utility systems, facilities and vehicles for performance monitoring, asset heath, energy management and other business impacts. Worldwide, more than 1.6 billion sensor-based data streams are managed by the PI System.

The Enablon EHS and Operational Risk software processes the PI System data, along with other data sources to trigger compliance reporting, perform inspections, environmental calculations or further analysis, and create action plans to mitigate risk.

“We have entered a new era in EHS and Integrated Risk Management, where information not only comes from human data entry, but internet-connected machines and devices,” said Taylor Allis, Vice President of Product at Enablon. “Many of our customers have IoT devices on their sites today, but are not leveraging this data effectively in their Environmental, Safety and Risk mitigation programs. OSIsoft is a world leader in operational data from sensors and manufacturing equipment. Adding IoT data to the Enablon platform increases the predictive power of our solution and enables our customers to avoid incidents and improve performance.”

“In the fast-changing world of the Industrial IoT, it’s critical that we continue to extend the capabilities and value that our customers can realize from the PI System,” said Timothy Johnson, Senior Director of Partners and Resellers at OSIsoft. “The partnership with Enablon, the world’s leading provider of EHS and Operational Risk software, allows customers to increase impact and business value.”

The partnership was announced at the Enablon Americas’ Sustainable Performance Forum 2018. With over 500 attendees SPF brings together EHS, Risk and Sustainability professionals from the world’s largest organizations and renowned subject-matter experts to discuss industry challenges and discover the newest innovations that allow them to add business value to their operations.
