An international journal dedicated to the worldwide dissemination of scientific information on diagnostic and therapeutic applications of multimodality medical imaging including ultrasound, magnetic resonance, computed tomography, and nuclear medicine.

The scope of the journal includes all areas of medical imaging of all body systems including cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary tract, nervous system, head and neck, chest, breast, musculoskeletal system, and other structures. Important segments are fetal and pediatric multimodality imaging, as well as interventional imaging. Studies comparing different imaging modalities are also included.
