Chia Woon currently serves as the Head of Tax for Malaysia and Singapore region of a multinational enterprise (MNE) group specializing in the chemistry industry. Prior to joining the MNE group, she gained valuable experience at accounting firms. She has over 13 years of tax experience and she specializes in international tax. She has vast experience in advising multinational corporations on corporate structuring and restructuring, inbound and outbound investments, tax treaties and cross border taxation and M&A tax matters including tax due diligence review and structuring. She has also assisted and supported her MNC clients on impact assessment and data readiness in respect of Global Minimum Tax. She writes on selected topics on Malaysia Income Tax on CCH iKnowConnect.
