Jaap is a Managing Director at Alvarez and Marsal (A&M) Jakarta and brings over 27 years of experience in the international tax and M&A tax practice. He is leading the Indonesian tax practice of A&M.
Before joining A&M in 2025 he was a partner at KPMG Indonesia and a European law firm. He has been involved in many cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, tax due diligence and structuring, including real property investment and finance.

- Master’s Degree (LL.M) in tax law, Leiden University in the Netherlands
