Data processing

USRC import HMDA and/or CRA source data into Wolters Kluwer’s proprietary compliance platform, applying formatting rules and data‑mapping logic to ensure every required field aligns with federal regulatory standards. This results in clean, structured data ready for review and analysis.

Geocoding

USRC geocodes institution‑supplied addresses against authoritative databases with manual research where needed, using Google Maps, MapQuest, USPS, and county websites, to ensure correct census tract assignment — an essential component of accurate CRA and HMDA reporting.

Regulatory edit checks and data cleanup

USRC runs all HMDA and/or small business lending data through comprehensive edit‑verification processes. Validation issues and quality flags are documented in exception reports, returned for correction, and updated in the dataset to produce a fully compliant loan application register (LAR) and/or loan register.

Submission services

USRC manages the end‑to‑end submission process, ensuring the data file meets formatting requirements, validity and quality edits are addressed, and all final submission files are accurately prepared. We partner with institutions to complete submission to the appropriate regulatory agency.
