Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. will have a significant presence at Data & Analytics in the Law, a conference presented by Evolve Law on Wednesday, September 27 in New York, where two company leaders will give presentations and participate on panels discussing trending topics in the industry.
Dean Sonderegger, Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. Vice President of Legal Markets and Innovation, will give a “Darwin Talk” at the event, marking his second such talk for Evolve Law. Earlier this year, he presented on disruption and innovation in the legal industry in the wake of technological advancement during Legal Week. In his upcoming presentation, entitled AI: A Historical Perspective, Sonderegger will explore the history behind artificial intelligence (AI) and its evolving role in today's legal tech market.
“As artificial intelligence becomes a vital tool used to enhance legal technology today, reflecting on the implications of its history is essential in order to understand and predict its future,” said Sonderegger. “It is imperative to understand the evolution of AI in order to recognize the current and future states of how it will benefit our society – especially in the legal tech market.”
Susan Chazin, Legal & Regulatory U.S. Portfolio Director, Securities and Banking, will participate in a panel entitled Data & Analytics in the Law. Her expertise in developing and enhancing a portfolio of legal products and solutions gives her a unique perspective on how developing data can influence the market and its products.
The Evolve Law event, held at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, will bring together legal professionals and technology providers to discuss best practices for integrating technology into law practices and legal departments, and finding new solutions for practice management, document automation, client relationship management and more.
