This publication of the British Neuropathological Society is an international journal featuring original papers, both clinical and experimental, on problems and pathological processes in neuropathology and muscle disease.

The journal publishes contributions- including multidisciplinary papers - with a tissue-based focus on all relevant aspects of neurological disease, from experimental neurobiology to pathological diagnosis, regardless of methodology.

Included original data papers, authoritative reviews, short reviews, and commentaries. Case reports that contain significant novel findings may be published as items of scientific correspondence.
