Craig Nelson is Vice President, Business Relationship Management in the Wolters Kluwer Global Business Services (GBS) group, a team responsible for improving the quality and performance of Wolters Kluwer’s internal technology infrastructure, while driving global financial and operational excellence programs, supporting the Financial & Corporate Compliance division.
In his role, Craig partners with FCC, GBS and Digital eXperience Group (DXG) leadership to align technology strategy with business priorities, strengthen resiliency and reliability, modernize core systems and solutions, and support the division’s long-term growth plans.
He has more than 25 years of experience leading technology, product, and transformation initiatives. Prior to Wolters Kluwer, Craig served as an executive advisor to an early-stage AI technology startup and held multiple leadership roles at ADP including as Vice President of Product Development for National Account Services, where he led software development and solutions architecture for ADP Vantage® and ADP Enterprise® HCM platforms and related products, overseeing global teams of more than 700 professionals across payroll, talent, HR, benefits, and workforce management.
During his time at ADP, Craig led modernization initiatives spanning product platforms, enterprise systems, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities. This included leading the delivery of the company’s first GenAI recruiting features, implementing machine learning-driven payroll optimization initiatives, and modernizing its cloud-native HCM suite.
Earlier in his career he held technology and procurement leadership roles at Sony Electronics and served as a Supply Corps officer in the U.S. Navy.
Craig holds a master’s degree in management, operations and systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Florida.
