Wolters Kluwer celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month: Domingo Vazquez

From September 15 to October 15, Americans observe Hispanic Heritage Month. In celebration, Wolters Kluwer has spotlighted the careers and stories of several of our Hispanic leaders whose heritage has influenced their contributions and furthered our culture of innovation.

Domingo Vazquez is Vice President & Segment Leader, GRC Corporations at Wolters Kluwer. Domingo heads the Corporation Segment within CT Corporation, the leader in registered agent, incorporation, and legal compliance solutions in the United States. Domingo gets energized by finding ways to help drive incremental growth at CT — and by seeing that growth create opportunities for employees to expand their careers, including new roles, career pathing options, and promotions. He enthusiastically encourages employees to make their career ambitions known so it’s possible to build a development plan to get them there.

As a hardworking and supportive manager, Domingo values the tremendous commitment and effort he sees our employees putting in every day, saying “They inspire, above all.”

Domingo credits his family for inspiring his strong work ethic and shaping his gratitude for those who came before. In business and in life, his advice is to,

Domingo Vazquez
"Have the courage to make decisions when you have imperfect information — and own the consequences. Don’t get stuck in analysis paralysis and don’t dwell on past decisions. Be courageous. Be accountable. Continue to move forward.”

Domingo’s Puerto Rican culture centers around family, faith, food, and fun. He says, “My mother’s arroz con gandules y pernil (rice with pigeon peas and marinated pork) is my favorite, but you really can’t go wrong eating anything that my mother cooks.” Playing dominoes is a Puerto Rican tradition that his family enjoys, especially at extended family gatherings where several games are often running concurrently. Domingo’s 12-year-old son Dillon just started getting into it, and it’s a great way for him to spend quality time with his grandparents.

In reflecting on his 17 years with the company, Domingo says, “Wolters Kluwer has always supported me both professionally and personally, and for that, I am eternally grateful.”
