Wolters Kluwer celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month: Charlene Noll

From September 15 to October 15, Americans observe Hispanic Heritage Month. In celebration, Wolters Kluwer has spotlighted the careers and stories of several of our Hispanic leaders whose heritage has influenced their contributions and furthered our culture of innovation.

Charlene Noll — Director, Product Management TeamMate, Tax & Accounting — is inspired by the challenge of continuously innovating to provide customers with market-leading products that make them smarter, more productive, and successful. She appreciates that Wolters Kluwer invests in people to ensure career development and growth — and provides an environment where innovation and collaboration are top priorities.

Following her father’s advice to, “Do what excites and challenges you, and work hard at it,” Charlene thrives in product management and recommends it to anyone looking for a career path that allows them to manage and collaborate with key stakeholders, engage with customers in a meaningful way, and have direct impact on a business’s success.

Charlene has a great role model in her mother who came to the United States from Ecuador, South America. In spite of not knowing English and having little financial backing — or parents to support her — she was able to raise three independent daughters who followed in her footsteps to become strong, successful individuals.

Celebrating her Ecuadorian heritage centers around family gatherings, catching up with cousins, uncles, and aunts — and eating Ecuadorian specialties like empanadas, lentils, traditional soups like locro de papa (potato and cheese soup), and lots of homemade desserts.
