The Journal of Laboratory and Precision Medicine is an open access, peer-reviewed, international online journal that publishes both solicited and unsolicited manuscripts.

With the aim of reporting new findings, JLPM provides current, practical information from the laboratory and precision medicine field. It publishes original articles, editorials, technical notes, case reports, and reviews covering all aspects of laboratory medicine.

‘Laboratory medicine’ is defined as the analytical and clinical investigation of laboratory tests on humans used for disease diagnosis, risk stratification, severity or prognosis estimation, and treatment monitoring, including but not limited to clinical hematology, thrombosis and haemostasis, clinical biochemistry, disease-oriented biomarkers (e.g. cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, infectious diseases), body fluid analytes, genetical diagnosis, clinical immunology and autoimmunity, clinical metrology, therapeutic drug monitoring, quality and safety in laboratory medicine, new analytical methodologies.
