Caroline Wouters is the Chief Brand & Communication Officer of Wolters Kluwer. In this role she leads the development of the global brand and communications strategy aimed to amplify the company’s commercial success.
Caroline is a trusted advisor to the Executive Board in addressing diverse stakeholder groups both inside and outside the company. Since joining the company in 1988, she has held various senior leadership roles, shaping Wolters Kluwer’s global brand strategy and corporate communications with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and purpose.


Caroline has completed executive education programs at institutions including INSEAD and Deloitte Academy, building on her deep practical experience with strategic leadership development. She is a strong advocate for gender equity and inclusive leadership, serving on the board of Topvrouwen.nl and previously chairing The Hunger Project Netherlands—roles that reflect her commitment to social impact and responsible business.
 
She is also a recognized thought leader, contributing to publications such as Building a Collaborative Brand, where she explores the power of partnership and shared purpose in modern brand building. Across platforms like LinkedIn, Caroline shares insights on topics ranging from brand authenticity to the importance of creativity and design thinking in driving long-term value.
