The John Adams Institute, in partnership with Wolters Kluwer, hosted a conversation with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Advisor to President Biden about the COVID-19 pandemic and response - followed by an expert panel discussion - on May 25, 2021.

What have we learned during the COVID-19 pandemic that can aid us in the future? What could the "new normal" look like? Dr. Fauci spoke with Dr. Damiaan Denys, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Amsterdam, on lessons learned in battling COVID-19, the ensuing public health crisis, and government responses in the US and Europe.

A respected, decorated scientist and physician, Dr. Fauci was appointed Director of the NIAID in 1984 and has served as an advisor to seven US presidents. He played a key role in HIV/AIDs research and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2008.
