Division 7A Essentials
Stay ahead with Division 7A essentials.
The basic operative provisions of Division 7A ITAA 1936 should be familiar to most taxation and accounting professionals. While we all strive to attain a reasonable working knowledge of the rules, it’s not unheard of in practice, to ‘inherit’ problems that need to be resolved or to be ‘blindsided’ by the lesser known or more complex aspects of the provisions.
Most advisers will appreciate that problems can often be resolved by revisiting the ‘first principles’ of the legislative provisions.
