TeamMate+ Technical Introduction 101 (Part 1)

This session will focus on the installation and technical configurations for the TeamMate+ platform, which includes both TeamMate+ Audit and TeamMate+ Controls. We will discuss architecture design, including hardware and software requirements, reporting engine, OLTP and reporting databases, and Windows Services. This class is recommended for new and existing TeamMate+ clients who want a better understanding of the technical aspects and maintenance of the TeamMate+ platform. This class will also be good for TeamMate AM clients looking to find out more about the technical differences with the new platform in preparation for the migration to TeamMate+.

TeamMate+ Technical Introduction 101 (Part 2)

Building on the content from Part 1 of this series, we cover best practices for features like Windows Authentication, notifications, user management, and email configuration. This class is recommended for new and existing TeamMate+ clients who want a better understanding of the technical aspects and maintenance of the TeamMate+ platform. TeamMate+ 201: TeamMate+ Audit Champions Panel Discussion

TeamMate+ 201: An Introduction to Solving Your Support Challenges

In this session we will discuss a 360° view of the most common TeamMate+ support issues including reporting, TeamMate+ Integration and how to avoid these common issues.

  • TM+ Reporting: Overview of behind the scenes with Cognos and the move to the new reporting engine
  • Office Integration in TM+ and Audit Report Authoring

This session is suitable for IT Support, TeamMate champions, and advanced TeamMate users. TeamMate+ working knowledge is preferred.

TeamMate+ Architecture 201 – Ask the TeamMate Devolopment Team

This advanced technical session is designed to be very interactive by giving you a chance to meet leaders from the Development team. This elective will be a panel discussion in which attendees will be asked to submit their technical topics for discussion in advance so answers to your hot topics can be addressed concerning the technical aspects of the applications in the TeamMate portfolio. Additionally, the Development team will describe the architecture of the TeamMate+ platform.

A recommended prerequisite for those new to TeamMate+ is the TeamMate+ Technical Introduction 101 electives.

TeamMate+ Architecture 201 – Ask the TeamMate Support and IT Services Teams

This advanced technical session is designed to be very interactive by giving you a chance to meet leaders from the Support and IT Services teams. This elective will be a panel discussion in which attendees will be asked to submit their technical topics for discussion in advance so answers to your hot topics can be addressed concerning the technical aspects of installation, ongoing maintenance and upgrads, TeamCloud, and troubleshooting.

A recommended prerequisite for those new to TeamMate+ is the TeamMate+ Technical Introduction 101 electives.

TeamMate+ Audit 201: Assessment and Audit Plan (1 of 5)

This session provides an 60 minute overview of Assessment and Audit Plans (1 of 5) The Assessment in TeamMate+ is the single point for Project Creation and this class will cover configuration use cases for clients performing annual Risk Assessments and for clients who take a non-risk based approach to annual planning. Audit Plans will also be covered and how monitoring of Plan progress and other KPI’s can be performed.

Note this class is the first in a series of 5 workflow electives sessions. Each session builds on the content presented in the previous elective so participation in all electives in this track is recommended.

TeamMate+ Audit 201: Capacity Planning, Scheduling and Time Tracking (2 of 5)

This session provides an 60 minute overview of Capacity Planning, Scheduling and Time Tracking (2 of 5) Capacity Planning and its flow from Audit Plan to Scheduling to the Profile with a high level view on configuration will be covered. Next is basic scheduling functions and how staff assignments in the Schedule flow to the Profile and changes in Project Staffing flow back to the Schedule. This session will also cover the basics of Engagement Planning and information from Assessment and Schedule as well as Templates kick off smart planning. Lastly, learn how to use Timesheets to track and report on staff time across audit activities

TeamMate+ Audit 201: Engagement Planning, Execution, and Wrap-Up (3 of 5)

This session provides a 60 minute overview of Engagement Execution (3 of 5) Learn how to optimize enagement execution more effective and efficient by exploring different data entry modes depending on the task being performed. Explore how to make use of Perspectives and Dimensions to find the data that you require and streamline access to the fields your team uses most. Learn to leverage features like Due Dates, direct Reviewer assignments and cascading assignments to task out sections of the Project file quickly and easily. Master the use of features like Work Paper Check Out, Check In and versioning and see how core features like Office Integration & Hyperlink and Signoffs create efficiency in your workflows. Lastly, we will cover the wrap up stages of an engagement including how to use Reviewer tools like Coaching Notes. It will also look at features available to ensure quality of data at key stages in the engagement including Finalization.

TeamMate+ Audit 201: Response Tracking & Reporting (4 of 5)

This session provides a 60 minute overview on Creation and Reporting of Issues/Findings (4 of 5) This elective will also focus on tasks typically performed when teams are ready to report their issues/findings in an audit. For some teams, reporting issues are they are discovered and getting input/ agreement from the business while audit work continues is an important step in timely reporting. The new capabilities for response tracking will facilitate this agility and help speed up reporting. Regardless of whether response tracking is used, all teams create a report. This class will also include the fundamentals of generating and audit report and using the workflow features to track the review process and manage versions.

Note this class is the fourth in a series of 5 workflow electives sessions. Each session builds on the content presented in the previous elective so participation in all electives in this track is recommended.

TeamMate+ Audit 201: Issue Tracking (5 of 5)

This session provides a 60 minute overview of Releasing Issues for Tracking and Basic Issue Reporting (5 of 5) See how the Issue Tracking process has been implemented in TeamMate+ with a more consistent user interface and an example of how the barriers between modules is being broken down as you have the ability to do follow-up work in either the Project or Issue Tracking areas of the application. This class will also cover the basic Issue Dashboards and Reports available to assist in ongoing monitoring and reporting of issues.

TeamMate+ 301: Reporting Services API with OData

Many organizations today have immediate and ever changing adhoc reporting requirements. This session will cover the data available in the TeamMate+ Reporting API, how to setup the API, how to connect the Reporting API to Excel and Power BI and demonstrate some dashboards that can be created using this data.

Note this class is not a 'How To' for creating reports in Excel or Power BI, rather a presentation of what is possible and how others have creatively solved reporting needs using these tools.

TeamMate+ 301: Walk Through of Agile Audit Prototypes

This elective is for expert/ 2 years+ users TeamMate+ users who want to participate in the creative side of defining a feature. Earlier in 2020, TeamMate conducted a number of contextual design visits with clients in early state implementation and/or actively using agile audit to conduct their work. This session will walk users through and discuss our current prototypes for supporting Agile Audit methodologies based on those visits. Provide your feedback and insights on our plans for Agile Audit.
