Q: Please explain why you cancelled your stock dividend?
A: Wolters Kluwer abolished the stock dividend option in order to end the resulting dilution in the most cost effective and tax efficient manner. We will continue to offset the dilution caused by performance share issuance.

Q:What does the ‘ex’ quotation mean?
A: This means the stock price is reduced by the dividend amount. This happens once a year after Wolters Kluwer N.V. final dividend has been formally approved.
